dsh-subscription-usage

DSH Desktop plugin for OpenCode Go, Command Code, ZenMux Builder, and ChatGPT (Codex) subscription quota tracking.

ChatGPT (Codex) β€” v0.3.6

The ChatGPT entry is opt-in and uses the local official Codex App Server for browser sign-in and account/rateLimits/read. It does not need an OpenAI API key or enable model inference through this plugin.

  1. Install the official Codex CLI (npm install -g @openai/codex). On Windows, restart DSH after installing.
  2. Open DSH Desktop β†’ Subscription Usage β†’ Add plan β†’ ChatGPT (Codex).
  3. Enable and save the plan, reopen it and click Connect with ChatGPT.
  4. Use the displayed sign-in link on the same computer where DSH Desktop runs. Complete the consent/login in the browser.
  5. The plugin polls for the account state while its dialog is open, and displays quota windows returned by the service.

Codex must be available locally. The plugin uses ~/.dsh-subscription-usage/codex as an independent CODEX_HOME. It does not reuse, copy or log a user's normal Codex CLI credentials, and it does not transmit auth tokens to the browser. Disconnect signs out only this plugin's isolated Codex profile. The host launches a fixed command without a shell; alternatively point DSU_CODEX_EXECUTABLE to an absolute path to codex, codex.exe or codex.js.

This is the existing Codex managed ChatGPT sign-in flow, not registration for third-party Sign in with ChatGPT plan inference. Available quota windows describe Codex usage, not the entire ChatGPT product. Availability and commercial use remain subject to OpenAI's applicable policies. OAuth browser callbacks are local; remote DSH Web sign-in is not supported in this release.

Other plans

The sidebar footer opens plan selection, settings and usage. Other plans use their existing host-stored keys. Only enabled plans are queried. Credentials remain in the host and never appear in the browser. The plugin does not buy plans or modify BrowzWork settings.

Language

The plugin follows DSH Desktop's language via the host HTML lang; Chinese locales display Chinese and others display English.

Development

Run npm run check, then npm pack. Quit and reopen DSH Desktop after installing a new plugin version. No npm publish or Desktop deployment is performed automatically.
